DPMM FC continued their freefall after dropping to their fourth consecutive defeat in the Singapore Premier League with a 3-2 home loss at the hands of Balestier Khalsa FC on Friday.
The Brunei side looked to have earned a point at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas through Hakeme Said a minute from the end of regulation.
However, the visitors had other plans to snatch maximum points after last gasp winner courtesy of Riku Fukashiro six minutes into added time.
DPMM FC had a good start with Latvian forward Davis Ikaunieks opening his account for the club with a left-footed strike from six yards out on the half hour mark.
The visitors levelled just two minutes after the interval through Kodai Tanaka.
An erroneous backpass gifted possession to The Tigers and the initial shot was stopped by DPMM FC goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski but Tanaka was there for the rebound.
Miguel Oliviera had rounded the keeper to score only to be flagged for off side and moments later Balestier went ahead.
Ignatius Ang sent the ball from right which was then laid off by Tanaka for Anton Fase to slot home in the 67th minute.
DPMM FC equallised with Oliviera delivering a cross from the left and was headed home by an unmarked Hakeme.
Fakashiro ensured the Tigers took all three points after he beat his marker before firing past Naumovski for the last kick of the game.
With the victory, Balestier snapped their three-game losing skid and move up to fourth position with 29 points.
On the other hand, DPMM FC sit second from bottom in the nine-team table eight points behind.
The Brunei side will now travel to Singapore for their Singapore Cup Group A encounter against the Young Lions on February 15.
