YUNI-KU clinched the men's open in the final circuit of the Brunei 3x3 Tournament after edging Wira Pori 21-19 in the final on Sunday.

Absar Amin had the hot hands to finish with a game-high of 15 points, which included five buckets from behind the arc, for Yuni-ku.

Asi Medina notched four points while Kon Yee Hung had the other basket in the victory.

On the other side, Jake Chong led the way for Wira Pori with 10 to his name at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.

Jonathan Lim added five while Devon Lim chipped in four to a losing cause.

Yuni-ku had opened up a five-point lead after a two-pointer by Absar to make it 13-8 with 6:30 left on the clock.

They stayed in control and Wira Pori were forced to take a timeout.

They managed to cut the deficit to two points but were in the penalty with over four minutes to play.

Absar then split his freethrows to make it 17-14.

Jonathan made a layup the next possession followed by a two-pointer by Chong to tied things at 19-apiece on the 3:30 mark.

After a handful of misses by both sides, Kon converted a layup to put Yuni-ku back in front.

The game was over after Chong fouled Medina on a layup attempt and the latter made no mistake from the charity stripe for the title.

Yuni-ku went 3-1 in the group stage and had their revenge with a 21-8 win over Hisense HVAC in the semis.

Hisense HVAC took the bronze after defeating Teewan 21-16 in the third-place playoff.
