YUNI-KU cruised into the quarter-finals of the YOU.C1000 Cup after demolishing Midnight Media Mavericks 126-43 in Group B on Wednesday.
The match was only competitive in the opening period with Yuni-ku leading 23-15 after 10 minutes.
The advantage was already up to 30 points by the break as they went on to win by the largest win margin so far this year.
Eight of the 11 players available got into double digit scoring for Yuni-ku at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
Asi Medina had a game-high of 21 points.
Al-Fariq contributed 18 while Kenny Lim and Marion Pineda notched 16 and 15 respectively.
Kon Yee Hung dropped 12 points while the trio of Asyraf Juelar, Ashraf Haledi and Aristeo Fullado put up 10 each.
On the other hand, Jaron On and Daniel Sim had 10 points apiece for the Mavericks.
The competition continues on Friday with two more group matches.
LTY Foodstuff will battle TK Tea House in Group A at 7pm.
A matchup between Yuni-ku and Patriots follow at 8.30pm.
