MD Burhanuddin Hj Edy Asmady successfully defended his title in the Open category of the 2nd Goalie Wars on Sunday.
The MS ABDB shotstopper came out on top 8-6 against Abd Azim Abdul Rahman in the final at the FABD Field.
Abd Azim started the two-minute half with an immediate goal with a throw.
The Kasuka Ar Rwada keeper made two stoppages with powerful shots from Md Burhanuddin.
It was 2-2 at the break and both players exchanged goals.
Md Burhanuddin then went in front 7-6 with over 20 seconds left for one last time.
He then denied his opponent with four seconds left to play to seal the win.
The Open category attracted a total of 52 participants.
Over in the Under-17 category, Mohammad Wafi Ishamuddin Abdullah Sani claimed top honours in a field of 14 contestants.
He defeated Pg Muhd Hasbulqahhar Pg Hj Mohd Suhaimi 5-4 in the final.
Plenty of attempts were denied by the woodwork to see the scoreboard read 1-1 after the opening half.
It was deadlocked at 4-4 with a minute left before Mohammad Wafi bulged the net with 15 seconds to go.
He made a stop in the final four seconds to secure the win.
Meanwhile, the Under-12 category was contested in a league format and Md Ameer Danish Alizam was crowned the winner against six other competitors.
Mohammad Waie Harith Mohd Wardun came in second place.
Present as the guest of honour was FABD exco member Pg Waslimin PSJ Pg Hj Momin.
The tournament was organised by Wards A Save Academy, headed by former national goalkeeper Wardun Yussof.
