AL JAUHALI powered TK Tea House to a 90-82 victory over reigning champions D'Barkadz in the curtain raiser of the YOU.C1000 Cup on Wednesday night.
Jauhali had the hot hands as he dropped a game-high of 27 points - 16 of them coming in the decisive frame.
Baguidro had 17 and Elvin Requintin added 18.
Credo was the other in doubles figures with 11 points in the win.

On the other hand, Absar Amin topscored for D'Barkadz with 25 points.
Jonathan Doles notched 16 while Jomarie Corpuz, who had a rough shooting night, finished with 14 points.
Gassim Elsheikh also got in double-digit scoring with 11 in a losing effort.
Both teams were neck and neck through out the encounter at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
A coast-to-coast layup by Requintin before the buzzer put the scoreboard at 65-63 in favour of D'Barkadz heading into the final stanza.
The turnaround came with under six minutes left as TK went on a 13-0 run - all scored by Jauhali including three treys.
Turnovers by D'Barkadz allowed TK stick their noses in front 79-75 after seven unanswered points.

D'Barkadz then called a timeout to regroup.
However, they returned to the floor with Ashali forcing a turnover off Corpuz.
The ensuing play saw Jauhali connect on a three-pointer.
D'Barkadz then missed a layup at the other end and Jauhali once again hit from behind the arc to make it a 10-point game.
Qassim stopped the rut with a basket but the momentum was clearly with TK.
They utilised the clock on each possession from there and took care of the boards to clinch the opening Group A game.
