BASMA Lachkar placed top of the podium at the 2024 Asian University Wushu Championship after winning the women's taijijian event on Thursday.
She tallied a total of 9.510 points to defeat six other contestants to take the gold medal in Harbin, China.
Japan's Hibiki Isono grabbed the silver with her score of 9.503.
Chen YuXing of China completed the podium with 9.496 points.
Hosea Wong is the other Brunei representative at the competition.
He captured the silver medal in the men's taijiquan event on Wednesday.
Wong's performance earned him 9.480 points just 0.020 behind eventual winner Zhao ShiXuan of China.
Hong Kong's Sat Pak Long placed third with his score of 9.470.
Wong followed that up with a bronze medal in the men's taijijian event.
