THE Brunei veteran basketball team will return with the bronze medal from the Borneo City Basketball Tournament after taking down Labuan 69-48 on Sunday.

Kenny Lim Aik Teck Wee was the other in double figures with 13 points and dished out a game-high seven assists in the win.
On the other side, Wong Vui Chung topscored for Labuan with 15 points.
Leslie Cheam Tat Swan and Terry Tan added 12 and 11 respectively in the defeat.
Both teams were deadlocked at 15-15 at the end of the opening period at the Miri Basketball Association court.
It was in the second quarter where Brunei turned things around.
Labuan had their largest lead at 22-16 before the Sultanate went on a 23-0 run stretching into the third stanza to open up a 17-point advantage.
It grew to as large as 21 points and they never looked back to finish the competition with a 1-2 win-loss record.
They had opened their campaign with a heartbreaking 64-62 loss to Kota Kinabalu on Saturday before dropping 59-47 against Miri the next day.
Meanwhile, both the men's and women's team failed to get in the win column losing all three matches in as many days.
