BASKETBALL season is back!
The annual YOU.C1000 Cup is set to tip off on June 19th at the Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) court in Batu Bersurat.
Held in conjunction with His Majesty's 78th Birthday celebrations, the tournament is open to Brunei residents with a valid Brunei identity card and work permit.
Two categories - Men's and Women's Open - will be contested with a total cash prize of over $6,900 up for grabs.
Registration is now open and will close on June 5th.
Forms can be obtained from the BBA court and fees are prices at $350 per team.
“We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to YOU.C1000 and Hui Huang Enterprise, the sole distributor of YOU.C1000 in Brunei," said Jake Goh, BBA President, in a press statement.
"It is with their generous contribution that enables us to continue to deliver quality tournament to participants and spectators," he added.
