MD Burhanuddin Hj Edy Asmady emerged the winner of the Goalie Wars Open category on Sunday.
The MS ABDB shotstopper defeated KB FC's Md Jefri Syafiq 10-8 in the final.
The match was tied at 4-4 going into the break at the FABD Field in Berakas.
Md Burhanuddin then scored back-to-back to begin the two-minute second half.
He hung on and scored in the final second of the match for icing on the cake in the triumph.
A total of 36 contestants separated into six groups vied for top honours.
Meanwhile, Ak Md Dzul Ikram of Wijaya FC U-20 claimed top honours in the under-18 category.
He beat DPMM FC U-20's Md Waie Haziq 12-7 in the title-decider.
Ak Md Dzul Ikram had jumped out to an 8-4 advantage going into the interval.
He never looked back to claim the crown.The U-18 category attracted a total of 15 participants.
Present as the guest of honour to give away the prizes to the winners was Pg Zamri Pg Hj Bujang.
The competition was organised by Wards A Save Academy, headed by former national goalkeeper Wardun Yussof.
The organisers also thanked their sponsors SBD, YOU.C1000 and EPIC International for making the event possible.
