WAN SING advanced to the final of the Low San Basketball Tournament after dispatching Anta Brunei 74-62 on Wednesday.
Kenny Lim led the way for Wan Sing with a game-high of 20 points.
Venilson Lico added 14 while Matt Jerickson and Joven Dungog chipped in 13 and 11 respectively.
On the other side, Yap Chun Ping topscored for Anta with 17 points.
The duo of Choo Yung Jian and Ben Sim each chipped in 12 to a losing cause.
Wan Sing got off to a hot start as they knocked down six treys in the opening six minutes for a 20-9 lead.
Sim struggled going 0-5 from behind the arc as his side trailed 26-13 going into the second frame.
Wan Sing led by as many as 17 points but were plagued by fouls - getting in the penalty after four minutes.
Anta chipped away at the lead but their opponents regrouped to stay ahead 41-32 ag halftime.
Anta continued to attack the paint and cut the deficit to 43-42 with 7:30 on the clock in the third stanza.
They went in front for the first time courtesy of a basket by Phang Seng Fu with six minutes left in the quarter.
However, Wan Sing closed out the period with a 7-0 run to establish a 56-48 lead at the end of the third.
Anta were not helped by their poor shooting from the charity stripe - missing six straight.
Wan Sing were back up by 10 after Jake Ten dived to save the ball for Lico to score in the early exchange in the fourth stanza.
Both sides went with full court pressure defence and things remained within reach for Anta.
Sim knocked down his first trey after nine attempts to make it 57-64 midway through.
Things got heated in the final three minutes as the officials look go keep things under control.
Joey Nyau scored a bucket and narrowed the deficit to 64-60 with 1:31 left.
Choo fouled out with an unsportsmanlike foul the next possession.
Jerickson was cool as a cucumber and knocked down both from the charity stripe.
With ball possession, Wan Sing capitalised as Lico finished with a spin to the basket.
Another unsportsmanlike foul was whistled the next play and this time on Sim.
Jerickson once against hit both to close out the game and punch their ticket to the final.
