BEN SIM turned in a vintage performance to lift Anta Brunei to an 87-76 victory over Medlink Solutions in the quarter-finals of the Low San Basketball Tournament on Sunday.
The 38-year-old dropped a game-high of 34 points, which included seven treys, in 38 minutes to send his side to Wednesday's semi-finals.
Yap Chun Ping added 17 points while Choo Yung Jian had a good all-rounded display with 15 points, eight assists and seven steals.

On the other hand, Joey Dela Pena led the way for Medlink with 25 points.
Gerald Balaota chipped in 14 and Alsaid Jauhali poured in 10 to a losing cause.
Francis Juelar was limited to only eight points for the encounter with Anta executing a box-one defence.
Both teams were deadlocked at 37 apiece at halftime after a close range shot by Dela Pena before the buzzer sounded.
Anta suffered from foul trouble to their front court and it allowed Medlink to go in front 50-49 after a layup by Juelar.

Kevin Tay responded with a trey before Sim took over at the offensive end.
He scored 11 straight points for Anta which included a corner three to put his side up 62-52 with under three minutes to go in the stanza.
Anta stayed in front by double digits and they had their largest lead at 76-63 after a basket by Lim Teck Cheng with 5:40 left to play.
However, Medlink took advantage of their opponents' foul situation to attack the paint.
They used an 8-0 run with under three minutes to play to cut the deficit to four points.

Phang Seng Fu then hit two from the stripe to stop the bleeding and Sim followed that up with two more.
Choo came up with a huge steal with just over a minute left leading to Yap scoring off a layup to put the game to bed with a 10-point lead.
