MEDLINK Solutions came from behind for a 94-88 victory over Nuctech to finish top of Group A in the Low San Basketball Tournament on Wednesday.
The duo of Francis Juelar and Allen Salvador came up clutch and combined for 18 – nine each - of the team’s 30 points in the final stanza to take the win.
Francis finished with a team-high of 19 points while Salvador added 15.
Thirdy Juelar poured in 12 while the pair of Joey Dela Pena and Alsaid Jauhali contributed 11 and 10 respectively.
On the other hand, Phuoh Wee Kit had a game-high of 24 points to pace Nuctech.
Hung Jiunn Nan added 15 while Daniel Yap chipped in 11 to a losing cause.
Nuctech had led the entire way and carried a nine-point lead at 73-64 entering the fourth period before the turnaround at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat.
Meanwhile, Cara Mudah secured passage into the quarter-finals after crushing Syifak Traveller 154-40 in Group B.
The latter only had six players available for the encounter and finished with only four after two of them fouled out.
