MOHAMMAD ADI Salihin Roslan narrowly missed out on a podium finish at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China on Tuesday.
The three-time SEA Games gold medallist finished fourth in the men's nanquan and nangun all-round event after tallying a total of 19.429 points.
Adi had placed sixth after completing the nanquan event in the morning at the Xiaoshan Gaoli Sports Centre.
He was the second contestant out for the nangun event and it placed him in a medal position until the final competitor - South Korea's Lee Yongmun.
The latter dashed Brunei's hopes and eventually won the silver with a total of 19.472 finishing behind Indonesia's Harris Horatius by 0.034.
Macau's Huang Junhua claimed the bronze with his total of 19.463 points.
Meanwhile, Majdurano Joel Majallah Sain was the other Bruneian in the event and he placed 14th overall out of 20 competitors.
He managed a combined total of 19.143 points.
