YOKOHAMA began their Propel Women's Cup campaign with a 36-29 comeback win over Le Doux on Sunday.
Saralyn Mospa topscored for Yokohama with 12 points at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
The duo of Goh Hui Teng and Rana Samir contributed 10 points apiece in the victory.
On the other side, Gabrielle Chin paced Le Doux with 12 to her name in the defeat.
Le Doux had the better opening half as they jumped out to a 19-13 lead at halftime.
Yokohama switched gears as they outscored their opponents 12-5 the next 10 minutes.
The game was deadlocked at 25-25 going into the decisive frame.
Yokohama knocked down two treys for their first two baskets while limiting their opponents to a single field goal enroute to victory.
The competition continues on Saturday with Le Doux up against Golden Girls at 7.15pm.
