HAPPY CLAW Machine Corners (HCMC) edged BNS 66-62 in overtime to begin their Propel Women's Cup campaign on a winning note on Saturday.
HCMC had four players hit double figures with Charina Caballero leading the way with 21 points.
Angelyn Pendon provided 14 points while Karyn Ho added 12.
Jasmin Herrera was the other with 10 points in the victory at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
On the other hand, Vanessa Pang notched a game-high of 31 points to pace BNS.
Nahdhatul Simaa and Chieng Hei Yien chipped in 13 and 11 respectively to a losing cause.
BNS will look to bounce back in their second game on Sunday when they face off against Minimau at 7.15pm.
