PROPEL advanced to the semi-finals of the YOU.C1000 Cup after dispatching Linktech - on Monday.
Alvin Goh led the way for Propel with a team-high 23 points.
Darren Chai added 14 while Tung Yee Keong had 10 in the triumph.
On the other side, Michael Embolotrio notched a game-high of 24 points to pace Linktech.
Lu Yong had 12 while Reymundo Maquiraya was the other in double figures with 10 in the loss.
Propel had a great start and quickly jumped out to a 10-point lead led by Goh at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
It took Linktech over four minutes to get their first field goal.
However, they clawed their way back and tied the game at 31-31 with over three minutes left in the second period after a putback by Reymundo.
Propel responded with six straight points before closing for a 37-33 lead at halftime.
The game was once again deadlocked at 40-40 after Jomer Conol completed a three-point play on the 8:24 mark.
But a series of turnovers allowed Propel to jump out to another double digit lead.
Three successive baskets put them up 55-45 with four minutes to go.
It was a physical affair in the fourth period and Propel's advantage was never threatened.
Goh then converted three straight freethrows to give them their largest lead of the game at 72-54 midway through enroute to victory.
