YOKOHAMA clinched the women's title of the YOU.C1000 Cup with a game remaining after dispatching GHK 45-36 on Saturday.
Saralyn Nospa produced a game-high of 13 points to pace Yokohama while Angelyn Pendon added 12.
On the other side, Gabrielle Chin was the only player in double figures for GHK with 12 points.
After a closely contested opening period, Yokohama finally created a little breathing space in the second frame.
A layup by Nospa at the buzzer put Yokohama up 25-16 at halftime.
GHK managed to cut the deficit to six points in the third stanza at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
However, they simply ran out of steam and couldn't get their shots to fall.
They threw in the towel with two minutes left as they unloaded the bench while trailing by nine points.
