JCWE were crowned champions of the BDBA 3x3 Challenge Cup 2023 after defeating HiSense 21-12 in the final.
The team of Ben Sim, Md Zainul Ashyraf Hj Hussin, Ahmad Termizi Hj Noordeen and Lim Liang Wei won all their matches at the Kg Baru Basketball court in Seria.
They had defeated the same opponents 14-12 In their Group A opener.
JCWE then swept aside Medistick 18-6 to finish top of their group.
They then beat Blue Mamba 11-0 to move into the top-four.
JCWE progressed into the final after dispatching Thye An Goldsmith 21-14.
The latter eventually took the bronze medal with a 21-11 victory over Au'tree Candle.
A total of 17 teams separated into four groups competed for top honours in the one-day competition.
Meanwhile, four teams from the Open category also contested in the Under-23 category.
HiSense walked away with the top prize after winning 21-12 against the Rebels.
The winning team consisted of Yung Ken, Edwin Oei, Chai Tze Khiong and Alfariq Affendy.
