BRUNEI clinched the bronze medal in the veteran category of the Borneo City Basketball Invitation in Labuan.
They began their campaign with a 64-55 defeat to hosts Labuan on Friday.
They then bounced back with a 73-65 victory over Miri before falling 58-46 to KK on Sunday to settled for third place.
Meanwhile, both the men's and women's teams failed to get in the column of the three-day competition.
The men's team were swept aside 100-41 against eventual champions Miri in their opener.
It was back-to-back defeats after losing 89-65 against Labuan the next day.
They then closed out with a 63-58 loss to KK.
Over in the women's category, KK stamped their class over Brunei 103-22 in their first match.
They then lost 61-44 to Miri before dropping 48-35 against Labuan.
