This was revealed during the inauguration ceremony of the executive committee for the 2023 - 2025 term on Saturday night.
With plenty of playing experience under his belt, the 37-year-old will now lead the national cagers for the next two years in his latest venture.

"Basketball has given me so much and it is time for me to give back what I have learned and built in my life up to this point," he added.
His first assignment will be the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup to be held in Singapore from March 29 - April 2.
The Sultanate have been placed in Group D together with Malaysia, Iran and Hong Kong.
"Of course we want to be able to compete overseas," said Sim.
"But we don't want to just be there to participate. To be able to compete, that would be the long term goal" he added.
Sim also highlighted that the volunteer coaches will be key in helping bring the game up in the country.
