PROPEL claimed the bronze of the GHK Tutong Cup 2022 after fighting back to defeat JHY Enterprise 67-60 in the third place playoff on Friday night.
Tan Kun Hor was the biggest factor for Propel as he dropped a team-high of 24 points.
Tan Kah Boon was the other in double figures with 13 to his name.
On the other side, Ahmad Termizi Hj Noordeen scored a game-high of 27 points to pace JHY and Shean provided 13 points in the defeaft.
JHY came back from a double digit deficit to lead 49-45 going into the final period at the Tutong Chung Hwa basketball court.
It was neck and neck as the scoreboard read 60-56 in favour of JHY with four minutes left to play.
Kun Hor then scored back to back baskets including a three-point play to put Propel back in front.
JHY settled for shots from behind the arc but couldn't get things to fall.
Kah Boon then hit two freethrows before Kun Hor split his charities to make it a two-possession game entering the final minute.
JHY were forced to foul to stop the clock and Propel closed out the game from the line.
