EASYWAY progressed into the quarter-finals of the YOU.C1000 Cup after sweeping aside Unity 96-60 in their Group A match on Sunday night.
In what was their third win in three games, the five-time champions had five players in double figures.
Jake Chong led the way with 20 points. Jayden Chen notched 17 while Ben Sim added 16.
The duo of Brendan Lim and Daniel Sim put up 15 and 10 respectively to round off the team's top contributions at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
On the other hand, Mahyuddin Hj Tengah was the only in double figures for Unity with 14 in a losing effort.
It was pretty much one way traffic from tip off as Easyway jumped out to a quick lead.
Despite their front court pairing of Md Zainul Ashyraf Hj Hussin and Chris Chiew missing in action, Easyway opened up a 23-10 lead going into the second period.
Unity ran the floor and battled each possession. They managed to match their opponents point for point to trail 41-28 at halftime.
That was only close as it got as the third stanza is where Easyway pulled away and never looked back as they led by over 30 points to cruise to victory.
