THE Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) is planning to participate in several competitions hosted by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) this year.
This however will be subjected to the national teams’ capability to train in full conditions, and the approval from the Brunei Darussalam Government to travel outside of the country — in light of these unprecedented times.
FABD plans to join:
- AFF U23 Championship 2022 in Cambodia from 14—26 Feb 2022
- AFF Futsal Championship 2022 in Thailand from 2 - 10 April 2022
- AFF Futsal Club Championship 2022 in Thailand from 22 -28 August 2022
- AFF U16 Boys Championship 2022 in Indonesia from 6 — 20 August 2022
- AFF U19 Boys Championship 2022 in Indonesia from 20 August — September 2022
The FABD has faith that the national teams involved will give their best in these tournaments.
FABD views these regional tournaments as important platform to raise the standard of our national teams and individual footballers.
Therefore, the association hoped that participating players can take this golden opportunity to learn new things and use them to improve the quality of football in Brunei Darussalam.
