SYSTEMATIC Living are one win away from completing a sweep of the women's category of the YOU.C1000 Cup after crushing Shooting Stars 66-32 on Monday night.
In what was their third consecutive win, Ho Shing Shing accounted for half of the team's points with a game-high of 31 to her name.
Captain Vanessa Pang notched 13 points while Effie Lim added 11.
Chloe Chen chipped in eight points while Normawashikin was the other to make a basket for the team to complete the team's scoring.
On the other side, Saralyn Mospa was the topscorer for Shooting Stars with 10 points.
Systematic Living got off to the best of starts and had everything going for them at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
They scored the first 11 points and limited their opponents to only two field goals in the opening 10 minutes to lead 17-5 going into the second quarter.
Shooting Stars fared better in the second period but they simply couldn't put a stop against Ho as she finished the first half with 18 points.
Systematic Living dominated the third stanza 19-5 to run away with the win.
It was sweet revenge for Systematic Living after finishing second to their opponents in the National Basketball League in May.
"It feels amazing. were all actually nervous about tonight's game because we lost to them in the League. But the line up is different this time," said Pang in an interview with BruSports News after the triumph.
"Everyone in the team did very well and communication on defence was spot on.
"The team spirit was also different compared to the previous games," she added.
Systematic Living will complete their round of games against Stratus Development on July 17 and they wont take the encounter lightly.
"We may have won our previous games but that doesn't mean that we can be overconfident about the next," said Pang.
"We will have fun out there and always give our 100 percent and work together as a team," she concluded.
