DPMM FC got their Brunei Super League campaign off to a superb start after a 16-1 demolition of BAKES FC on Sunday night.
The 2019 Singapore Premier League champions wasted no time and opened the flood gates in the second minute at the Jerudong Mini Stadium.
Defender Charlie Clough finished the game with five goals while the trio of Andrei Varankou, Azwan Ali Rahman and substitute Razimie Ramli all notched hat-tricks.
Nurikhwan Othman and Hakeme Said each bagged a goal in the victory.
The only blemish for DPMM FC was a consolation goal for BAKES FC courtesy of Abd Rahim Abdullah 11 minutes after the break.
Indera SC storm to victory over Rimba Star
In another lopsided affair, Indera SC stormed to an 10-0 victory over Rimba Star at the Berakas Sports Complex.
Aimmil Rahman Ramlee bagged a hat-trick while the duo of Hamirul Hamry Norsyaney and Fakhri Ismail scored a brace each.
Michael Henry, Khair Basri and Hamizan Aziz Sulaiman also found the back of the net with a goal each.
Kota Ranger thrash Panchor Murai
Over at the Tutong Sports Complex, Kota Ranger FC hammered Panchor Murai FC 11-0 for their second straight win.
Adi Said tallied five goals while Faturrahman Embran scored a double.
Hardi Bujang, Babatunde, Azim Suhaimi and Faiz Farhan Kamat all got their names on the scoresheet.
It was the second straight defeat by the same scoreline for Panchor Murai in as many games.
Sullivan powers Kasuka FC to victory
In a much closer affair, Kasuka FC defeated MS PPDB 4-0 at the Berakas Sports Complex.
Taylor Leon Sullivan opened the scoring in the 43rd minute to give his side a 1-0 lead at the break.
He added two more in the 70th and 83rd minutes to complete his hat-trick before Nur Ikmal Damit completed the win with another goal in stoppage time.
