PEGASUS got their YOU.C1000 Cup campaign off to a winning start after cruising to a 99-51 win over CBA in Group C on Sunday night.
Pegasus had distributed scoring with five players getting into double figures.
Kenny Lim led the way with a game-high of 19 points to pace Pegasus while the duo of Ahmad Termizi Noordeen and Eric Palanca added 16 each.
Ting Heng Lee contributed 15 points while Asyraf Juelar chipped in 10 in the triumph.
On the other hand, Tjhi San Bun topscored for CBA with 14 points while Ling Ting Ann added 10 points to a losing cause.
It was evident where the game was headed from the start as Pegasus piled on the pressure with man-to-man defence.
They were getting it done from the outside and Heng Lee banked in a three at the buzzer to put his side 29-11 going into the second period enroute to a comfortable victory.
It was a much closer affair in the second game as Yi's Nation edged Setia Warriors 71-68 in Group D.
The tournament resumes on Monday with Le Doux Patisserie taking on Systematic Living in the women's category at 7pm.
The second will see Bujang Senang and And One go head-to-head in men's Group A.
