TK Tea House completed the Veteran Basketball League with a flawless record after taking down RYS 94-73 in the final game last night.
Roldan Binas produced a game-high of 23 points to lead TK while Ryan Garcia contributed 15 points.
Elvin Requintin also got into double figures with 12 points while the duo of Apollo Bibat and Aries Castro chipped in 11 points in the win.
On the other side, Ho Hee Lee topscored for RYS with 19 points while Loo Yau Wai added 14 in a losing effort.
Both teams entered the encounter without a loss at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat.
TK were not helped by their unforced turnovers and it remained a close affair most of the way before things took a turn in the deciding frame.
Requintin a buzzer beater to put TK up 65-58 at the end of the third period.
It was in the final 10 minutes that TK picked up their game as their opponents tired out.
They played to their strengths and attacked on the break to see the lead balloon to 82-68 with five minutes to play enroute to victory.
Concepts Computer claimed the third spot of the six-team competition with a 3-2 win-loss record.
