HUI HUANG Enterprise are looking to avenge their quarter-final defeat to TK Tea House when the two sides meet in the final of the YOU.C1000 Fuzhou Cup tonight at 8.45pm.

The former had fallen 80-76 in their thrilling last-eight encounter last Wednesday at the Fuzhou Shiyyi Association building in Berakas.

Hui Huang forward Esmond Tan assured that they have adjusted and are ready for the final battle - which will see the winners walk away with a cash prize of $5,000.

“We definitely will learn from our mistakes and are looking to even things out,” said Tan in an interview with BruSports News yesterday.

“We know that it won’t be an easy game so we will give it our A game.

“But we will play the way we always do and we believe that the results will come,” he added.

When asked on what will be key for the matchup, Tan replied: “Defence and rebounds will be the key to beating them.”

On the other hand, TK will have to look after the minutes of the duo of Roldan Binas and Apollo BIbat (pic) as both will see action in the final of the veteran category when the TK veteran team face Digimark for the title at 7.15pm.

Most notably BIbat as he was vital in their first meeting whee he held Francis Barcellano to only six points.

“We will have to limit his (Bibat’s) playing time. Hopefully others will be able to step up but if needed he will have to play hard,” said TK coach Robert Rubillar.

“We are not thinking about the prize money as that would just be more pressure.

“We just have to play the game as we don’t know what will happen. We have to play tight defence and have good teamwork to win the championship,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Bandar Estates defeated BruPay 73-68 to claim third place last night.

Over in the veteran category, BDBA-RYS edged Linktech 83-82 in the third-place playoff.
