AHMED Faez 'Eazy' Anuar perfectly executed the game plan to claim a dominant second victory in the ONE Warrior Series.

The 33-year-old locked in a triangle choke hold to force Japan's Ryuichi Yamashita tap out with five seconds left in the opening round at the BelleSalle Shibuya Garden in Japan on Saturday.

"The game plan was to strike first and strike hard. Set the pace early, keep a high work rate and make the opponent fold to the pace we set," said Eazy in an interview with BruSports News yesterday.

"Plan was to dominate everywhere; the striking, the wrestling and the grappling. Man, we drilled all these positions hard during camp.

"I was only going to slap on any kind of submission towards the last 30 seconds of the round since near submissions or KOs score really high in the bout," he added.

"So even if he didn't tap, I would take in high points. The main plan was to keep beating him up until he gives up round for round," continued the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu brown belt holder.

When asked on what's next for him, Eazy replied," Keep on displaying my craft and prove I'm contender worthy.

"Just build my reputation and keep evolving. Most importantly evolve as a mixed martial artist. Good things come to those who preserve and work hard. It's a marathon not a sprint," added the head coach of Khalifa MMA.

Eazy also had plenty of congratulatory messages pour in all over social media after the win. He was thankful for the support.

"Huge thanks and gratitude to the fans and the nation. They fuel my ambition to always set the bar high and set a good example in this professional sport," said Eazy, who is now holds a 3-0-0 pro record.

"The support is overwhelming and it keeps me humble and grounded," he concluded.

Eazy had won on his ONE Warrior Series debut after locking in a seated armbar against India's Pardeep Kumar late in the second round in Singapore on April 25.

Besides Eazy, the pair of pro MMA fighters Adib Sulaiman and Nurhidayat Hj Abdul are also chasing the ONE Championship dream.
