HUI HUANG Enterprise notched their third straight win in Group B of the YOU.C1000 Fuzhou Cup after easing past Good Home 99-72 last night.
Esmond Tan topscored for Hui Huang with 19 points at the Fuzhou Shiyyi Association Building in Berakas.
Francis Barcellano added 16 points while the duo of Marcus Lim and Benjamin Lim chipped in 15 and 12 respectively in the victory.
On the other hand, M Pahimutang Jr bagged a game-high of 24 points to pace Good Home.
N B Freires added 22 points while the pair of Pang Tze Yun and C G Alviar each contributed 11 points to a losing cause.
Hui Huang struggled from behind the arc most of the opening period allowing their opponent to tie the game at 15-15 with under two minutes.
They then turned to Barcellano as he scored six unanswered points to put Hui Huang in front 21-15 heading into the second quarter.
Hui Huang were plagued by unforced turnovers and it allowed Good Home to snatch the lead at 25-24 three minutes into the second frame.
But that was the closest the game ever got as Hui Huang picked up at the defensive end and ran the floor to score.
They led by double figures for the first time courtesy of a trey by Benjamin to make it 39-27 and they ended the half with a 12-0 run for a 46-27 lead at the interval.
It was more one way traffic after the break as Hui Huang built their lead to as large as 34 points in the third period enroute to a lopsided victory.
In the second game, GHK defeated THEvent.Co 86-66 in Group A of the Veteran category.
The competition continues today with Superfish taking on Bandar Estates in Group A at 7.15pm.
The second game pits Systematic Living against THEvent.Co in the same group at 8.45pm.
