THE second phase of the YOU.C1000 Cup will be held from August 31 - September 7.
This was revealed during a managers meeting earlier today at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat.
The top six teams from the first phase have been invited to participate in the eight-day tournament.
However, there will only be five - FZ-Juramas, Easyway, YTE, Setia Builders and Systematic Living - vying for top honours after TK Tea House opted out.
Teams will be allowed to add a maximum of three SEA imports (without Brunei identity card) to their roster to further raise the level of the annual competition.
It will be contested in a round-robin format with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
The final is slated for September 6 with an all-star game scheduled for the next day.
FZ-Juramas won the first phase after coming back from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to edge Easyway 70-65 on Wednesday.
