FZ-JURAMAS progressed into the semi-finals of the YOU.C1000 Cup after dispatching Yuniku 82-65 in their group A match tonight.
In what was their third straight victory, FZ-Juramas had four players in double figures with Benjamin Lim leading the way with 15 points - all coming from behind the arc.
Alvin Goh notched 14 points while Francis Barcellano and Kevin Tay chipped in 13 and 12 respectively in the victory at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat.
At the other side, Thian Lee Choy produced a game-high of 19 points to lead Yuniku. Han Ye Siew was also in double figures with 14 points while A Dela Cruz poured in 10 to a losing cause.
FZ-Juramas will next play defending champions YTE in a battle for group supremacy on Saturday night at 9pm.
Meanwhile, the second match saw Systematic Living win their first in three games after edging Bengkurong Brotherhood 96-91 in Group B.
Kon Yee Hung led the way for Systematic Living with 23 points while Ong Jian An contributed 15.
Simon Chong and Jason Lim also got in double figures with 12 points each in the victory.
The competition continues tomorrow with Setia Builders taking on Moldex Realty in Group A at 7.15pm.
The second game pits Easyway against YTE Basketball in Group B at 9pm.
