BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN
THE much anticipated YOU.C1000 Cup, held in conjunction with His Majesty's Birthday celebrations, is scheduled to tip off at the end of the month and will be contested in a different format this year.
It will feature two phases with the first made up only of Brunei residents with valid identity cards in both the men's and women's categories.
At least four teams will then be invited to compete in the second phase - which will allow teams to field two imports (players without Brunei identity cards).
Interested parties can get the registration forms from the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
Completed forms with entry fees ($400 for men's and $300 for women's) are to be submitted no later than July 18.
More information can be obtained by contacting Samuel Jong at 8623273 or Darren Yap at 8801292.
YTE are the defending champions after edging Fuzhou Shiyyi Association 80-77 in the final.
