BRUNEI'S top combat sports competitor, Ahmed Faez Anuar of Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts, more popularly known as Eazy, has been handed a huge boost after signing a one-year contract with supplements distributor Gator Sports earlier today.

Held at the Gator Sports premise in Kiulap, present to sign the agreement on behalf of Gator Sports was its manager Danny Chua.

The contract will see Eazy become the Gator Sports ambassador and he will receive a year-long supply of supplements and benefits from Gator Sports as well as sports rehabilitation provided by Smoov Lab.

This also comes timely to assist the 33-year-old after he penned a deal with ONE Warriors Series, a fight promotion under ONE Championship, the world’s largest martial arts organisation early last month.

Eazy is thankful to be given such an opportunity and is looking forward to working alongside Gator Sports.

“First of all, I’m excited and grateful. I feel really blessed that I was given this opportunity by the Gator management,” said Eazy, who is a BJJ brown belt holder.

“ONE Warrior serves as a platform for ONE Championship scouts to select fighters to join the roster.

“The road is not easy. People see the glam of winning and being out there in an event like this but don’t see the amount of hard work put in day in and day out,” he added.

“Obviously supplements help a lot. They go a long way in terms of body recovery, endurance and performance.

“These things aren’t cheap. I’m really grateful as it takes a huge burden off my shoulders and it is something less I need to worry about so that I can just focus on my training,” continued Eazy, who made his pro MMA debut in October with victory over Jess Dela Pena at the Ultimate Beatdown Borneo in Kota Kinabalu.

Meanwhile, Chua is looking forward to building a long-term relationship with Eazy.

“We are proud to have Eazy onboard with us as the face of Gator Sports. We look forward to supporting him in his passion for MMA and in achieving his goals,” he concluded.
