DASH Football Academy were the biggest winners of the Sports School Football Academy Festival 2018 this morning after claiming two out of the three categories on offer.
They won the Under-12 category after defeating Sports School Football Academy (ABSS) C 2-1 in the final at the NFABD Artificial Turf in Berakas.
Kilanas FC Academy bagged the bronze after edging Perda FC 1-0.
Dash also came out on top in the Under-10 category after beating Kilanas 1-0.
BSRC completed the podium with a 5-0 thrashing of JBS Scheme.
Over in the Under-8 category, Ms. Tawakal finished at the top of the podium after a 4-0 victory over ABSS A. The former had lost their initial meeting in the group stage via walkover.
Dash bagged third place after a 2-0 triumph over Kilanas.
A total of 24 teams - eight divided into two groups for each category - competed in the one-day event.
