KOTA Ranger FC came back from three goals down to draw 3-3 against Kasuka FC in the DST Super League last night.
The result means that two-time defending champions MS ABDB (Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council) continue to lead the 11-team table on 30 points while Kota Ranger are just a point back with a game in hand.
Wijaya FC follow in third position with 21 points after Md Nasyrul Wafiy Hj Hassan’s first half penalty gave them a 1-0 win over Jerudong FC in the other match at the Berakas Sports Complex.
Meanwhile, Kasuka are in fifth with 19 points from 10 matches.
Contested at the Balapan Track and Field in Berakas, Afindi Yati Tuah gave Kasuka the best of starts after finding the back of the net in the sixth minute.
It was 2-0 just eight minutes later courtesy of Md Esmendy Ibrahim before adding another in the 24th minute to triple their lead.
Abu Bakar Mahari replied four minutes later to cut the deficit before netting a second in first half stoppage time to make it 3-2 at halftime.
Kota Ranger then equalised through Md Faiz Farhan Kamat in the 77th minute to see both teams take a point out of the encounter.
