CARL Montgomery (pic) shone as Juramas downed Walltique 126-96 to close out a perfect group stage in group B of the MK Group Cup last night.
Montgomery, who on Saturday produced a stunning performance in their victory against YTE Morsjaya, was once again on target finishing with 48 points after a virtuoso display at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
His compatriot Udun Osakue scored 24 points while Lim Liang Wei was the only local player notching double figures with 16 points.
Meanwhile, Rjay Ramirez bagged a team-high of 46 points for Walltique while Vincent Superio and R. Payongayong chipped in 13 and 10 points respectively.

Both teams are already through to the next round and joing them are Hainan and YTE Morsjaya as Tutong Basketball ended their campaign at the bottom of the group B.
Montgomery nailed six three-pointers in the third quarter that saw Juramas’ lead ballooned up to 98-64 going into the final stanza.
However, a 26-12 surge in the middle of the decisive quarter, with 20 points from Rjay Ramirez, helped Walltique to reduce the deficit and get back in the contest.
Once again, though, Montgomery intervened to turn the tide scoring three consecutive baskets before hitting his seventh and eighth threes of the night to help Juramas seal the victory.
One of the favourites to win the title, Juramas started their campaign with a 136-50 win against Tutong on July 16.
They defeated Hainan 114-32 on Thursday before beating YTE Morsjaya 100-94 two days later.
The competition continues tonight with the final two group A matches with Em Prez Sdn Bhd taking on BBA at 7.15pm while, two-time defending champions and top contenders Easyway will go up against CK & Associates in the later match.
