THE national under-22 football team have drawn in a favourable group for the upcoming SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.
Kwon Oh-son’s side have been drawn in Group A together with 2015 runners-up Myanmar, hosts Malaysia, Singapore and Laos for the football tournament, which is scheduled to run from August 14-29 at venus in the Klang Valley.
The interesting matchup will be against Laos, who have appointed former interim national coach Mike Wong Mun Heng to lead the team.
On the other hand, Group B are made up of defending champions Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Timor Leste and the Philippines.
