MYTOWN Eating House advanced to the semi-finals of the GRÂND Women Open Basketball Tournament after thrashing SSB Honey Carsmart B 83-23 in Group B last night.
Lim Giuk Ting notched a game-high of 25 points while Nurfarhana Yvonne Abdullah added 18 points at the BBA court in Batu Bersurat.
Dk Normawarashikin also got into double figures with 10 points to her name while the trio of Salwa, Wardah Me’raj and Yu Sze Yee posted 8 points each in the victory.
On the other hand, Jye Jing scored 13 of SSB Honey Carsmart B’s points in the loss.

After opening up a 17-11 lead over SSB Honey Carsmart B at the end of the opening period, MyTown Eating House held their opponents scoreless in the second quarter.
They outscored SSB Honey Carsmart B 24-0 in the 10-minute frame to pull away enroute to the lopsided win.
MyTown Eating House will face Group A winners SSB Honey Carsmart A in the semi-finals next Saturday (June 3).
Group B winners Winrun Tyres will go up against Indera En Voy Transportation in the other last-four matchup.

Over in the GRÂND Veteran Basketball Tournament, Fitness Zone picked up their second victory in Group B after beating OSP 104-70 in the other game last night.
The competition continues today with Hawks taking up LaMee in Group A at 7pm.
The second match pits Little Wonder against Concepts/3B3G in the same group at 8.30pm.
