INDERA En Voy Transportation cruised to a 55-26 victory over MyTown Kitchen in Group A of the GRÂND Women Open Basketball Tournament opener last night.
It was evident where the match was headed as Indera limited their opponents to only a single field goal in the opening frame to carry a 16-2 lead into the second period.

Jong Yee Ling notched a game-high of 18 points to lead the way for Indera.
Candy Liew added 12 points while Chieng Lin Ying also got into double figures with 10 points in the win at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
On the other hand, Sandy Yu was the only player in double figures for MyTown Kitchen with 11 points to her name.
Nur Suzianty Izlin chipped in eight points while Farhana Hj Md Kipli added six in a losing effort.
Over in the veteran tournament, Digimark swept aside OSP 94-65 in Group B.

Tonight’s matches will see MyTown Eating House taking on Winrun Tyre in Group B of the women’s tournament while Fitness Zone will face off against Linktech in Group B of the veteran tournament at 8.30pm.
