THE National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) has opened registration for this Sunday's NFABD Grassroots Football Festival 2017 in partnership with DST.
The one-day Under-12 annual event will be held at the NFABD Artificial Turf Field, NFABD House in Berakas and is limited to 300 entries.
Registration forms can be obtained at NFABD’s website (www.nfabd.org), on its facebook page (www.facebook.com/NFABDOFFICIAL/) or at NFABD House.
Completed forms must be submitted via e-mail or at NFABD House.
Walk-in registration is also available and will be held from 7am to 7.30am at NFABD House on the event day itself.
Free jerseys sponsored by DST will be handed out to the participants. NFABD would also like to thank NBT Sdn Bhd and Superwater Marketing Sdn Bhd for their generous sponsorship of the event.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Football Day on May 15.
Held for its fourth year, the NFABD Grassroots Football Festival has grown from strength to strength since NFABD first organised it in 2014.
A total of 999 children took part in last year’s festival which was held in all four districts, and Brunei Darussalam - through NFABD - won the AFC President’s Recognition Award For Grassroots Football (Aspiring Category) for the second time running last year for its efforts in developing grassroots football in Brunei.
