THE national under-22 football team are gearing up for the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Kuala Lumpur in August.
The team have been preparing since January under head coach Kwon Oh-son and they have started their intensive training early in March.
The national team had a disappointing campaign at the previous SEA Games in Singapore two years ago.
Led by coach, Stephen Ng Heng Seng Brunei lost all their five matches in group B and finished at the bottom of table.
Tabuan Muda started out their campaign with a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Vietnam before losing 2-1 to Laos.
They then fell to Timor Leste by the same scoreline before getting hammered 5-0 by Thailand. The sultanate then completed their group with a 2-0 setback against Malaysia.
