DPMM FC captain Rosmin Hj Md Kamis has called on his side to improve their defensive performance when they meet Geylang International FC in the S.League tonight.
DPMM FC will be looking to obtain maximum three points as they aim to turn things around following their worst start to the season with only one win from five matches.
The country's only professional club displayed an improved performance in last week's 5-3 defeat to Warriors FC but were let down by some defensive errors.
A spirited Rosmin urged his team to bounce back from the defeat and predicts a good result at the Bedok Stadium in Singapore tonight.
"We need to improve in defence especially because I personally think that's the weaker point for us at the moment," Rosmin told BruSports yesterday.
"We need to be more compact in defence and also we all need to work together and look all solid in every department...and I am very sure we will get the result going our way.
"We need to work harder this season and give the best we can during training and of course during every match too...we had a bad start this time but I am very sure will improve game by game," he added.
Geylang are coming into this game following a 2-0 win over Garena Young Lions and their striker, Victor Coto believes that the result has helped to boost their confidence.
The Costa Rican however warned his teammates of threats DPMM FC can pose.
“Winning always brings positive energy into the squad,” said Coto on the S.League.
“We all have more confidence towards the next game against DPMM FC, obviously we can't think for even a second that it's going to be an easy game because there's no such thing in football," he added.
